A business center in Lisbon has developed a virtual office application on the iPhone.
Avila Business Center’s myOffice application is the first of its kind in the world to be developed exclusively for the iPhone and virtual office market. It will allow users to receive up-to-date information regarding their correspondence arrival notifications and telephone contacts.
The firm conducted a survey comprising of 250 people to establish whether such an application would be a worthwhile consideration. Over 80 per cent of the participants found the idea favourable, illustrating the public interest in using innovative new technologies to better their work performance and strategies.
Carlos Gonçalves, chief executive officer of the company, said: “this project confirms Avila Business Center as a reference in business centers and the virtual offices market, betting on the constant innovation of their products and on the adoption of state of the art technologies in order to have the values closest to it’s clients”.
The product will be free to current business center clients and the firm is in talks to develop a further application suited to the Blackberry.
